Paul & Natalie Chambers
Paul and Natalie Chambers have been faithfully serving as pastors at Good News Church since 2016. They are driven by their deep passion for God’s presence and an unwavering commitment to teaching His ways. Paul and Natalie have led the church into numerous community initiatives, impacting lives and spreading the message of love and hope. Together with their children Brooke, Paige and Finney, they continue to foster a thriving and welcoming environment at Good News Church, where people can find God, faith, and freedom.
We Believe...
- There is only one God, existing in three persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit).
- By voluntary disobedience to God, man fell from innocence and purity, inherited a sinful nature, and became alienated from God.
- Man is utterly unable to remedy his exiled and sinful condition apart from Jesus Christ.
- God the Son (Jesus Christ) became man, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
- Jesus lived a sinless life, was crucified on a cross and rose again, breaking the curse of sin and death.
- Salvation is available by faith alone in the complete work of Jesus Christ on the cross and cannot be earned by works or religion.
- The Bible (Old and New Testaments) is God-inspired and is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
- The Church consists of all who put their faith in Jesus Christ and exists to carry on the ministry of Jesus Christ.
- Water baptism is an outward sign of the inward work of grace that has been worked in the Believer’s heart.
- The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a separate experience from Salvation and Water Baptism, and is available to every Believer for the purpose of supernatural empowerment and victorious living.
- All human life is sacred and must be respected and protected (both before and after birth), regardless of age or ailment.
- Marriage is the sacred, life-long covenant between one man and one woman before God. All sexual behaviour outside of this covenant is outside of the will of God.
- One day Jesus Christ will return in physical form to earth for His Bride, the Church, who will rule and reign alongside Him.

Our Vision
For Individuals:
People encountering God, receiving salvation, being set free, living aware and focused on His presence and on the purposes of God for their life, operating in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, and influencing the world around them for the kingdom of God.
For Church Family:
Growing in love and passion for God as we learn and experience more of Him because to know Him is to love Him.
Grow in love for each other and building each other up.
Grow in love for the lost and in evangelism.
For our Community:
Loved well, served well, and celebrated well.
Youth and Children
Youth programs run first and third Friday of each month (during school term), for ages 12-18. Please see our facebook page for more details – Epic Youth Maungaturoto Facebook.
A children’s program runs after Sunday morning worship while creche facilities stream a video feed of the service.
